Dear Comrade
Will write you Tomorrow have just been down to the Jail to See the boys. Took them Some med the jailer and the marshal are both on my String and they let me take anything I want to the boys I leave to night for Clarksburg where I shall do my full duty until you call me out
I think they have abandoned the Idie of bringing Sec Wilson here the marshal had a warrant for him and the
deputy was going after them
The gang of pirates reconsidered the matter thought it was best not to bother
any more.
Take care of yourself for the cause needs you now more than ever. I hope you feel better than when you were in the west.
