(Jan) Ian Strang (1886-1952) was an English artist and fastidious craftsman whose works mainly depicted buildings and architecture, rarely human subjects. Educated at the Slade, London, Strang went on to create almost one hundred and fifty etchings and was a full member of the esteemed Royal Engravers.
